  4. Why does the United Way goal increase every year?

Increases in rent, phone etc. as well as government cutbacks and a changing community are some of the reasons for an increased goal each year. Like any home or business, costs to operate keep rising. Increasing our goal allows us to maintain and expand current services as well as provide for new and emerging needs each year.

Campaign and Administration costs are 20% and our volunteer Board of Directors works extremely hard to ensure costs do not escalate.

You can donate to United Way by cheque, cash, Visa or MasterCard or by payroll deduction. We hope that every person who is gainfully employed will consider giving to those that are less fortunate. Every donation helps. You can make a difference in your community. All donations are tax deductible.
